CNC Machined to closely match the tolerance of the shock body bore and the shock shaft to increase consistency and performance versus molded pistons
3-Hole pistons pack slightly less than 2-Hole pistons and provide an optimum tuning option for different surfaces and setups
Each piston is milled with the numeric value of the size of the piston holes on the top face for easy identification

Overview

As the TLR Race Team continues to push the envelope of performance for the 22 platform vehicles, they have found positive benefits to running 3x hole pistons on some of the track and vehicles. The 3x 1.3 pistons are the standard piston used on many key TLR 22 2.0 setups including Ryan Maifield’s 2015 JC Fall Nats, Surf City, and JC Fall Nationals setups. These pistons are also a great tuning option for the 22T 2.0, 22SCT 2.0, and 22-4 vehicles.
