The Velineon? VXL-3m forward/reverse electronic speed control simplifies brushless technology with easy, built-in profiles and intuitive programming. The VXL-3m™ uses advanced circuit design that allows sensorless brushless motors to operate with the smoothness and precision of the best brushed systems. It sets up, operates, and programs just like the Traxxas XL-5™ family of ESCs so there's no tricky new procedures to learn. 변속기 세팅 방법

0. 사전 작업으로 변속기의 커넥터가 수신기의 CH2에 꽂혀 있어야 하고 조종기의 TH TRIM은 중앙에 맞춰져 있어야 한다. 조종기 밧데리가 충분해야 함은 물론이다.
 
1. 모터를 변속기에 연결하지 않는다.
2. 2개의 완충된 밧데리를 변속기에 연결한다.
3. 조종기를 켠다.
4. 변속기를 켠다.(제품에 따라서는 밧데리를 연결하면 켜지기도 함)
5. 빨간불이 들어올때까지 세팅 버튼을 누르고 있는다.(세팅모드로 진입하는 작업으로 조종기의 방아쇠는 중립유지 필수)
6. 연두색 불이 들어올때까지 방아쇠를 풀 스로틀로 당긴다.(혹 모터가 연결되어 있더라도 세팅모드에서는 모터가 돌지 않음)
7. 연두색 불이 깜박거릴때까지 방아쇠를 풀 스로틀로 민다.
8. 방아쇠를 중립으로 놓았을때 빨간불이 들어오면 세팅이 완료된 것이다.
9. 모터를 연결하고 사용한다. 이때 모터의 극성이 반대가 되지 않도록 주의한다.
 

모드 변경방법
주행모드는 총 3가지가 있으며 다음과 같다.
A. 전후진 모드
B. 전진 전용 모드
C. 후진25%감속모드
공장 세팅 기본모드는 A모드이다.
 
모드를 변경하려면 다음과 같은 절차를 따른다.
1. 위 변속기 세팅 1~4의 과정을 진행한다.
2. 변속기의 불이 빨간색으로 들어왔다가 연두색으로 들어올때까지 버튼을 누르고 있는다.
3. 변속기의 불이 연두색으로 들어오자 마자 버튼에서 손을 뗀다. 그러면 변속기의 불이 빨간색으로 깜박거릴 것이다. (모드 변경모드에 진입한 것임)
4. 현재의 깜박이는 횟수가 모드를 알려주는 것으로 다음과 같다.
 A 전후진 모드 : 1번 깜박임
 B 전진 전용모드 : 2번 깜박임 
 C 후진25%감속모드 : 3번 깜박임
5. 변속기 버튼을 누를때마다 위의 모드가 바뀌며 깜박이는 횟수도 달라진다. 
6. 변속기 버튼을 원하는 모드가 되도록 여러번 눌러준다. 
7. 원하는 모드에서 잠시 기다리면 연두색 불이 들어오며 모드 세팅 과정은 완료된다.
