The steel flywheel included with this pre-built clutch is heavier than the aluminum flywheel and is recommended as a tuning option for low traction, rough track conditions. The added weight will also help to provide smoother acceleration on engines with aggressive bottom end power delivery, and improve the engines idle characteristics.
