● 스로틀을 올렸을 때 모터가 원활하게 회전하지 않을 경우 (드르륵 거리며 돌지 않을 때) 이는 코깅(Cogging) 현상이 일어나고 있는 것입니다. 코깅 현상이 일어나면 빨리 스로틀을 완전히 내려서 더이상 변속기가 모터를 돌리게끔 시도하지 않도록 하십시오. 코깅 현상이 일어나고 있는데도 스로틀을 빨리 내리지 않을 경우, 변속기에서 모터쪽으로 전류가 제대로 흐르지 못해 변속기에 과부하가 일어나고, 곧 변속기가 손상될 수 있습니다.
위의 문제로 인한 변속기 손상은 소비자 과실이며, 초기 불량으로 처리되지 않습니다.
코깅 현상의 원인과 해결 방법
코깅 현상은 변속기와 모터를 연결하는 3가닥의 전선 중 1개 이상에서 전기가 제대로 흐르지 못할 때 일어납니다.
따라서 전기만 제대로 흘러 준다면 쉽게 해결할 수 있습니다.
아래의 순서대로 문제가 있는 부분을 찾아 보십시오.
1. 모터↔변속기 연결 커넥터 : 가장 자주 문제가 발생하는 부분입니다. 커넥터 납땜 불량, 커넥터 자체 접점 불량이 원인일 수 있습니다. 커넥터를 다시 납땜하거나, 다른 커넥터로 변경해서 납땜하거나, 커넥터 없이 전선을 직접 납땜해 보십시오.
2. 모터선 : 중간에 끊어진 부분이 없는지 점검합니다.
3. 변속기선 : 중간에 끊어진 부분이 없는지 점검합니다.
4. 모터선 (시작부분) : 모터선이 시작하는 부분은 아주 얇은 모터 코일이 모터선에 납땜이 되어 있습니다. 이 부분에 힘을 가하거나, 또는 접었다 폈다 반복하는 등 무리를 주게 되면 납땜이 떨어지거나 아예 절단될 수 있습니다. 단순히 납땜이 떨어진 경우 다시 용접하시고, 아예 절단된 경우 복구가 어렵습니다.
5. 모터 내부 코일 : 1~4번까지 점검해도 아무 문제가 없을 경우, 일단 변속기를 다른 제품으로 교체해 보십시오. 다른 변속기를 사용해도 똑같이 코깅 현상이 일어난다면 모터 내부 코일이 끊어진 것이므로 모터를 교체하십시오.
